Fred Silverman (Producer, Director, Writer) is an international and national award-winning producer. He has more than 30 years of experience in directing, producing, and writing nationally broadcast documentaries and non scripted specials. In 1999, in association with fellow journalists, he formed Social Issues Media, a non-profit production cooperative to develop television programs that focus on the human condition. Since 1985, he has been president of Silverman Communications, an independent production company.
